[Her Imperial Majesty recently visited King Fernando of the Rescue Ranch. The ebullient "Ferny" took HIM Hadarah on a tour of the ranch where he purrmitted her to drive his tractor and play the juke box. Then, after a sumptuous feast, he taught her to flamenco!]
Hadarah: Oh, Ferny, you are such an excellent teacher and a splendid dancer. What fun to dance the night away with you.
Ferny: Yew are as agilepawed as yew are majestic, Yewr Imperial Imperiousness. Surelee yew were born to dans-dans-dans!
Hadarah: Ah cannot help feeling selfish, though, that we monarchs should be spending our time purrsuing idle pleasures instead of on something that will benefit all the kitties in our territories.
Ferny: Donut overlukk duh impurrtance of duh flamenco in holdin bakk duh dredded El Niño!
Hadarah: Ah think you must be joshing lil ole me. Ah never heard of such a thing!
Ferny: Wheneffur kitties dans duh flamenco duh stomping vibrations travel underground affektin ocean currents keepin El Niño away. Flamenco iz benefitalizing!
Hadarah: How extraordinary that something so much fun to do is so beneficial to the planet.
Ferny: A wyse cat wunse sed, "It feels good to do good" sew I dans awl day long. 'Sepp when Ise at Paddy's Pub or beinn Bad to the Bone.
[Later. Much later. Back in the ballroom at Castle Gwyndd, HIM Hadarah has a profound realization. She has many profound realizations; this one involves dancing.]
Hadarah: It isn't enough that Ferny and Ah have agreed to spend a lot of time doing the flamenco. El Niño is associated with colder winters in the US and with massive flooding in many places around the globe. This causes much suffering.
There must be a way that we can do more. Ah think Ah know what, too. Ah shall encourage all kitties everywhere to Flamenco fur the Planet! Whirl fur the World! Make a difference!
Stomp ... Whirl ... Stomp. Purrhaps kitties will ask King Fernando and Empress Hadarah to open a flamenco studio and give lessons!

Recent:
HIM Hadarah, Empress of All, attended the Sledding Party given by the Gremlin Hunters, of which she is a member, from November 15 through mid-January of 2005. During this same period she purrticipated in a Snowman Building party given by the Philosophers Stone group of which she also is a member.
Current:
On New Year's Eve 2004, HIM attends a party at Cat Mountain escorted by Imperial Wink Scooter during which she and King Fernando demonstrate the flamenco.
HIM and Scooter treat their hangovers at Moke's and Mysty's New Years Day party.
Upcoming:
An Official Visit to Hong Kong as the guest of Lady Miwa, direct decendant of the reigning cat in the household of the last Emperor of China, will take place early in February. Her Imperial Majesty will celebrate Chinese New Year with Lady Miwa and her Court. There will be report on that trip in the next issue of Imperial Insight.
