After Ghost Kitty left the above graphic and "clue poem", more tomz began to guess his identity and soon the mystery was solved.
One sleuth, himself a renowned poet, announced his discovery in a poem of his own:
Its upon ur naptime nearly..
an we'ze ponders furry clearly

"Shamus, Shamus... effurmore.. "
by Dragon
That's right, the writer is none other than that gleefully notorious party animal, Shamus Blue, a Paddy's Pub regular and Bad to the Bone laureate!
The first to guess his identity was Bentley Marlowe who was aware of Shamus's reputation as a poet. Next was Sheik Ollie Babble who guessed by mewing,
"Mew know how blue eyed catz be, i finks Shamus a romanticallie inklined guy."
Arriving in the same email batch and, therefore, tied for third winner
are Biggie Fries,
who based his solution on a linguistic analysis of the text, and Dragon, who wrote the poem quoted above. All have been sent awards in recognition of their insight.
