There are several ways you can earn points in the 20th Century Guild. These points enable you to advance in ranks. ♦ Sound Off question = 30 points each There usually are two questions each month ♦ Badge Project = 125-250 points Also earns badge graphic award ♦ Submit question for Sound Off = 20 points When item is used = 20 points additional ♦ Submit suggestion for activity = 50 points When item is used = 50 points additional ♦ Bug reporting = 10 points per bug Remember to report URL of page and bug ♦ Photo for Members Gallery = 25 points Include birthday and URL of web page, if one, for 25 more points ♦ Join Guild = 50 points Welcome to new members What's the difference between Sound Off and Badge Projects? When you answer a "Sound Off" you mew about your family's experiences and your opinions. You don't have to do research, and the answers are fairly brief. Most would print out to a half page, or less. Badge projects are based on factual material which may require some basic research. Most would print out as 2-3 pages, maybe more, and could include public domain graphics. That's why there are more points and a greater point range. Sometimes there are special events, such as on Halloween, for which additional points may be given. Those points vary by event.
