Is there really a "Great Pumpkin"? We know there's a "Great Jack-O-Lantern" because we've hidden them around the klubb fur you to purractice your hunting skills. Of course, every cat who finds the Jack-O-Lantern huntee graphics (sample below) hidden on those sites will get a lovely award to put on a web page or keep in a special place. Note: The hunt is open to all readers of the Caterwaul Chronicle (gurlz too) as well as tomzrule® klubb memfurs.
The hunt begins on October 1 and continues until October 30. Enter now and build your collection of awards attesting to your outstanding hunting skills!
How to Hunt?
Here's a sample of what you'll be hunting. We call the graphics you are looking for "huntees" and there are six of them in the October hunt. They can be found by exploring the pages linked to our newly created klubb
Archives.
Just go to the Archives and search through the pages listed there until you find the six huntees. Record the URL of each and send the list to our klubb Hunt Masters, E.T. and Buddee, chatartist2001@yahoo.co.uk Multi-cat households can send one email for all memfurs; remember to list the names of every cat who hunted and specify whether the hunter is a tom or a gurl.
Who Can Hunt?
tomzrule® klubb memfurs, of course, and all tomz can be memfurs. Since the klubb mewspaper is available on mewsstands netwide, many gurlz read the Caterwaul Chronicle, and many are subscribers!
Therefore, the hunt is open to sisfurs, momfurs, and winks of klubb memfurs. Also, gurlz who are furriends, but not winks, can be sponsored by a klubb memfur and purrticipate in hunts. (Present memfurs of On the Prowl are eligible, too; many already are memfurs of our klubb.)
NOTE: The klubbhouse and Paddy's Pub remain strictly off-limits to gurlz. Gurlz must remember not to try to break in lest they wind up in the Punishment Room.
Get Visitors to Your Site - Be a Hunt Host
We are looking for Hunt Hosts for the Winter 2003-2004 hunt.
Want to show off your web site? Become a Hunt Host. A Hunt Host hides a huntee on one of his pages where all can come and search for it. When the hunt is over, remove the huntee. You can be a Hunt Host more than once. If you have a large site, consider having a hunt in a different activity/subdirectory at different times.
All we ask is that tomz display their klubb memfurship card on the hunt entry page of their site, that is, the page to which the klubb hunt is linked. Gurlz should display the "I read..." graphic. Graphics should link to http://www.tsimmes.net/caterwaul/index.html
